What is Purpose of Different Christian denominations?

Nowadays the Anglican Church is described by the Pentecost movement churches as lukewarm and they don’t like the way we worship GOD. So why is there the Anglican Church anyway? Why did GOD or more specifically JESUS CHRIST bring this Church into being? To know about this you have to dig a little deep into the Bible.

In the Old Testament GOD said in Genesis 11:6 "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them".

In the New Testament JESUS CHRIST said in Matthew 24:15 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. “

GOD didn’t want mankind to self destruct and cause disarray until the opportune time can to redeem them. So he scattered then into different regions with different languages. Now for GOD’s kingdom to spread that means GOD’s words, (The Bible) has to be translated into these languages.

Read the following facts and you will know why each Christian denomination is there… and what role it has performed in shaping Christianity.

After CHRIST being taken into heaven the Nazarene sect comprising of  around 70 people started spreading Christianity as per JESUS CHRIST Command.

The Bible was canonized by the 4th century

The roman emperor Constantine help spread Christianity and subsequently the Roman Catholics converted the cannon(Bible) to Latin.

It was the protestant moment undertaken by Martin Luther that helped the Bible to be translated from   Latin to other languages. Until the protestant moment it was mandatory for the Bible to be read in Latin.

The following graphs show the protestant moment.

The five protestant moment groups that split from Roman Catholics is shown in the below graph

Although the Anglican moment started as a way that Henry VII could divorce his wife which was prohibited under the Roman Catholic the years that followed tugged the Church of England far from the Roman Catholic Roots and into the protestant.

The conquest of various European powers into the land of Asia, Africa, Americas and Australia helped Christianity spread. Not only did it spread, The Bible was also translated into different languages so that people speaking different languages could know his word.

So thats why we have a lot of Christian denomination each one has its own purpose. To summarize

  1.  JESUS CHRIST said that the gospel had to be preached to the whole word because it was GOD who scattered men by confusing their language when they tried to rebel against GOD by building the tower of Babel.
  2. The Romans killed JESUS CHRIST and in the fourth century Roman Emperor Constantine was the one who revived Christianity and helped it grow.
  3. For the gospel to be preached to the whole world the scripture which was preserved in Latin language had to be converted to other languages which was possible because only because of Protestant denomination of Christianity
  4. Each denomination of Christianity had a purpose. The Catholics preserved the bible for many centuries especially during the dark times of Christianity and the Protestants spread the word all over the world.
  5. When Christ came the Roman kingdom controlled parts of all three continents which later allowed the apostles to spread the gospel easily.

So remember whatever be you denomination we are members of Christ body and be proud to be a Christian. JESUS CHRIST will look into your heart and not love you based on what denomination you are.

PRAISE THE LORD

Why are there difficult Moments in life...?

When GOD has rewarded you with a work or family and you face difficulties or difficult situations we immediately start asking GOD why there is no happiness.

Well when such questions rise up in your mind you must remember GOD hasn't put you in that place to be happy but infact to serve his Will.

GOD has a reason for allowing certain things to happen in our life's. We may never understand HIS wisdom but we simply have to trust HIS will.

As a christian we are put in a place to work, and put in a family not for enjoying purposes. But to enable GOD to spread HIS kingdom through you.

So next time when an uncomfortable or difficult situation or trouble arises, deal with faith so that others seeing your actions will be enabled to see out Glorious GOD through you.

Matthew 5:16 says let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your FATHER in heaven.

Remember you will rest and enjoy only after you reach heaven.  JESUS CHRIST in fact said in this world you would have trouble. John 16:33.

Christianity is about blessings and happiness but it is more often not what you immediately perceive.

Amen.

When persecuted always Praise the LORD!!!

Lot of Christians in India are afraid of the bjp/saffron rise and about other Hindu groups spreading havoc.

In fact as Christians and more specifically as GOD's Children,we need to remember according to the Bible if whatever fringe elements tries to disturb Christians they cant do until GOD authorizes them to do.

JESUS CHRIST said to pilate in John 9:11 You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above.

The Book of Acts  tells us how those scattered by persecution spread Christianity.

In fact Christianity spread from 70 members to billions only because of persecution.

JESUS CHRIST in fact said in this world you would have trouble. John 16:33

We may face hardships and difficulties with these fringes elements. But we wont be defeated because GOD Almighty the "KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS" is waging the Battle for us... and as we know he cant be defeated.

When persecuted always Praise the LORD!!!

The Letter of King Abgar to Christ and Christ's reply to it

Jesus Christ didn't write any book in the Bible. But interestingly he has written a reply letter to King Abgar V.

The Letter of King Abgar to Christ

The text of the letter was:

Abgar, ruler of Edessa, to Jesus the good physician who has appeared in the country of Jerusalem, greeting. I have heard the reports of you and of your cures as performed by you without medicines or herbs. For it is said that you make the blind to see and the lame to walk, that you cleanse lepers and cast out impure spirits and demons, and that you heal those afflicted with lingering disease, and raise the dead. And having heard all these things concerning you, I have concluded that one of two things must be true: either you are God, and having come down from heaven you do these things, or else you, who does these things, are the son of God. I have therefore written to you to ask you if you would take the trouble to come to me and heal all the ill which I suffer. For I have heard that the Jews are murmuring against you and are plotting to injure you. But I have a very small yet noble city which is great enough for us both.

Jesus gave the messenger the reply to return to Abgar:
Blessed are you who hast believed in me without having seen me. For it is written concerning me, that they who have seen me will not believe in me, and that they who have not seen me will believe and be saved. But in regard to what you have written me, that I should come to you, it is necessary for me to fulfill all things here for which I have been sent, and after I have fulfilled them thus to be taken up again to him that sent me. But after I have been taken up I will send to you one of my disciples, that he may heal your disease and give life to you and yours.

Fact
The church historian Eusebius, Bishop of Caesarea records that the Edessan archives contained a copy of a correspondence exchanged between Abgar of Edessa and Jesus. Abgar V was one of the first Christian kings in history, having been converted to the faith by the Apostle Thaddeus of Edessa.

According to some Eastern Christian traditions, Thaddeus, Syriac-Aramaic Addai or Aday (ܐܕܝ) (sometimes Latinized as Addeus), was one of the seventy disciples of Christ, possibly identical with Thaddeus (Jude the Apostle) of the Twelve Apostles.

Hidden awesome bible facts

  1.  In Genesis 3:15 god cursed the serpent saying that the seed of the woman will crush your head. To counter act this satan tried in vain to corrupt the seed by sending the Nephilim Genesis 6:4
  2. In the preflood world things didn’t get spoilt because of the vapor canopy. So when Noah, after the flood made wine he didn’t knew it would ferment and hence he became drunk. To know about the vapor canopy visit the following link http://gospelsecretsunveiled.blogspot.in/2013/09/the-vapor-canopy-what-is-vapor-canopy.html
  3. When Christ came the Roman kingdom controlled parts of all three continents which later allowed the apostles to spread the gospel easily.
  4. Jesus said that the gospel had to be preached to the whole word because it was God who scattered men by confusing their language when they tried to rebel against God by building the tower of Babel.
  5. For the gospel to be preached to the whole world the scripture which was preserved in Latin language had to be converted to other languages which was possible because only because of Protestant denomination of Christianity
  6. Each denomination of Christianity had a purpose. The Catholics preserved the bible for many centuries especially during the dark times of Christianity and the Protestants spread the word all over the world.
  7. When men decided to build the tower of babel they all had one language and as God said in Genesis 11:6 "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them". Similarily in the endtimes when knowlege and travel increase the same scenario will arise. But the reason why God allows this that the Gospel can also expand exponentially.
  8.  The Romans killed Jesus and in the fourth century Roman Emperor Constantine was the one who revived Christianity and helped it grow.
  9.  Jesus family was poor. We know it from the fact that parents offered a pair doves or pigeons (Luke 2:24). In Leviticus 12:8, this offering was for the poor the rich had to offer a Lamb. The money for the Journey to Egypt came from the three wise men who visited baby Jesus.
  10. In the Garden of Eden the animals and man talked with each other. We know this since Eve wasnt surprised when the serpent talked. And in Genesis 2:19 it mentions Adam named all living creatures. Why would you name something if you are not going to call them. There is evidence in the bible that a donkey talked (Numbers 22:28)
  11. When Adam was 130 years he became the father of Seth (Genesis 5:3-5). Although Cain and Abels age arent mentioned in the bible if we assume then to be teenagers then approximately Adam and Eve  lived in the Garden of Eden a 100 years. Its though to break Gods best creation and make it sin and it would have taken a long time to do it.
  12. The book of Genesis covers over 2500 year time frame.
  13. Genesis 6:6 states that God was grieved he made man.  Yet his love was so great that he waited almost 1656 years before he destroyed them. He made sure a remnant of everything survived. He only destroyed the agents that were destroying and making others sin.
  14. Exodus 34:29 says Moses face was radiant after coming down from mount Sinai. Hence we can conclude that Adam and Eve would have been radiant because they were free from sin and walked and talked with God. So nakedness dosnt mean what we think. It would be that they wore no clothes but the light radianting from within would cover then. Thats why when they sinned the light went of and they hid and covered with fig leaves (Genesis 3:7).
  15.  In Exodus 2: 24,25 we see that God heard the cry for help of his people and in the next chapter (Exodus 3) he appears to Moses in the burning bush. But 80 years before that he God saved from him from death as a three year old. Was bought in the wisdom of the Egyptians by his foster mother and values of Hebrew by his own mother and roamed the same place where the Israelites roamed for forty years. So God knew that his people would call him Eighty years before that and thats not all he remembered a promise he made to his friend Abraham 400 years ago. We people cant remember most of what happened today morning rite? Great is our LORD. Praise him for all the ages...!!!
  16. We know that what happened in the pre-flood world grieved god Genesis 6:6. But what really happened there can be found in the 628 commandments given in the book Leviticus. For example there is Leviticus 18:23 which tells to refrain from performing sex on animals. Who in their right mind would do that? When in all ancient methodologies you see creatures that are half man and half beast, and are worshiped as Gods.
  17. When Israel rejected God as their King and opted for more earthy King. Although he was sad that they rejected him as their King, he gave then prophets. All other Kingdoms had sorceresses, magicians, enchanters etc., but only Israel had prophets.
