What is Purpose of Different Christian denominations?

Nowadays the Anglican Church is described by the Pentecost movement churches as lukewarm and they don’t like the way we worship GOD. So why is there the Anglican Church anyway? Why did GOD or more specifically JESUS CHRIST bring this Church into being? To know about this you have to dig a little deep into the Bible.

In the Old Testament GOD said in Genesis 11:6 "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them".

In the New Testament JESUS CHRIST said in Matthew 24:15 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. “

GOD didn’t want mankind to self destruct and cause disarray until the opportune time can to redeem them. So he scattered then into different regions with different languages. Now for GOD’s kingdom to spread that means GOD’s words, (The Bible) has to be translated into these languages.

Read the following facts and you will know why each Christian denomination is there… and what role it has performed in shaping Christianity.

After CHRIST being taken into heaven the Nazarene sect comprising of  around 70 people started spreading Christianity as per JESUS CHRIST Command.

The Bible was canonized by the 4th century

The roman emperor Constantine help spread Christianity and subsequently the Roman Catholics converted the cannon(Bible) to Latin.

It was the protestant moment undertaken by Martin Luther that helped the Bible to be translated from   Latin to other languages. Until the protestant moment it was mandatory for the Bible to be read in Latin.

The following graphs show the protestant moment.

The five protestant moment groups that split from Roman Catholics is shown in the below graph

Although the Anglican moment started as a way that Henry VII could divorce his wife which was prohibited under the Roman Catholic the years that followed tugged the Church of England far from the Roman Catholic Roots and into the protestant.

The conquest of various European powers into the land of Asia, Africa, Americas and Australia helped Christianity spread. Not only did it spread, The Bible was also translated into different languages so that people speaking different languages could know his word.

So thats why we have a lot of Christian denomination each one has its own purpose. To summarize

  1.  JESUS CHRIST said that the gospel had to be preached to the whole word because it was GOD who scattered men by confusing their language when they tried to rebel against GOD by building the tower of Babel.
  2. The Romans killed JESUS CHRIST and in the fourth century Roman Emperor Constantine was the one who revived Christianity and helped it grow.
  3. For the gospel to be preached to the whole world the scripture which was preserved in Latin language had to be converted to other languages which was possible because only because of Protestant denomination of Christianity
  4. Each denomination of Christianity had a purpose. The Catholics preserved the bible for many centuries especially during the dark times of Christianity and the Protestants spread the word all over the world.
  5. When Christ came the Roman kingdom controlled parts of all three continents which later allowed the apostles to spread the gospel easily.

So remember whatever be you denomination we are members of Christ body and be proud to be a Christian. JESUS CHRIST will look into your heart and not love you based on what denomination you are.

PRAISE THE LORD
