Joshua's battle of Jericho accounted in the Book of Joshua and Christ battle of satan depicted in Revelation are more or likely same. Although the Holy Bible was written by people of numerous ranks in society: from religious prophets,
philosophers and poets, to peasants, shepherds, and
fishermen, to the ruling class of kings and judges, they were all guided by the Holy Spirit. Its the reason why the Bible is so unique and theme is same even though it was written over and period of 1500 years.
